WOW! We have so, so many games available to choose from at this year’s PrairieCon. In fact, we have so many games submitted, that we are turning off the game submissions!
We know this may come as a disappointment to some of you who still want to run a game and gain the incentives, but we’re concerned that many games won’t have enough players to run.
Any game that was submitted this morning and last night will be dealt with on a game-by-game basis to see if we can fit them onto a table somewhere and into our schedule.
Get Your Friends to Sign Up!
We have an opportunity to make this the biggest PrairieCon yet, and how fitting would it be that our largest attended event had a dinosaur theme!?! So ask your friends, ankylosaurus’ and countryfolk, to come out and play!
You have until May 18 to choose your games online and purchase your badges. Then we close the registration system for a week to get ready for PrairieCon. Game Selection will reopen when PrairieCon opens on Friday, May 24 at noon. Badges will be available in person at the registration desk.
To choose your game tickets, you’ll want to visit our registration site and look for the button to buy tickets. It will be right beside the Submit Events Button and the Buy Badge Button. (see below for an example of button placement)

Do you have a cosplay that you spent a lot of time on, and you are proud of, and that you want to show off? If so, then join us for PrairieCon’s first EVER cosplay contest!
We will have categories for both adults and kids.
The contest will feature a pre-judging along with a stage walk.
Costumes cannot have any live flame and no chemicals meaning no firecrackers, no glowsticks, etc.
You will be able to register to participate through our tabletop events site on or after April 20 when Game Selection opens.

A group of hopefuls from across the land have journeyed to the Ocasia School of Sorcery with dreams of admission to the prestigious school that will help them to unlock their natural sorcerer abilities. Candidates are sorted into five Societies for the testing process that will determine their fates: will you be one of the select few to be successful?
Players can register individually or as a part of a team. Teams will stay together for the first round of play, with some opportunity for mixing during the second round, which is a multi-table event. The tournament will use the 5e D&D rules set. Novice players are welcome, though this probably shouldn’t be your first game of D&D ever.
If you want to register as a team, make sure your team is all registered for the D&D tournament in tabletop events like normal, and then stick together when the game starts, and the DM will keep you and your friends together.
