You can register for PrairieCon XXX in one of two ways. You can register at the door at any time during the convention weekend, or you can pre-register by purchasing a pass. PrairieCon XXX Passes will be available between May 1st and 18th.
A PrairieCon Pass grants you full access to all PrairieCon games and events,
and allows you to pre-register your game choices so that you are guaranteed a place in the games that you want to play.
You can also purchase PrairieCon Passes at the convention.
PrairieCon Passes are available at the following locations:
- Candlewood Books, Brandon
- Eye Opener Bookstore, Brandon
- Maxx Collectibles, Winnipeg
- Pendragon Games, Winnipeg
- Imagine Games & Hobbies, Winnipeg
Have your pass handy when you pre-register — it has a registration number on it. You must include this number with your pre-registration at www.prairiecon.com.
Remember to bring your PrairieCon Pass with you when you confirm your registration at the event.
You must show up for events that you have registered for within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, or your position in that event may be forfeit.
If you are unable to attend an event for which you are registered, please let us know as soon as possible so that your spot can be made available for someone else. If you purchase your PrairieCon Pass but do not pre-register, the pass is still valid — just remember to bring it with you! If you live in an area which prohibits you from acquiring a PrairieCon XXX Pass, email us at chair@prairiecon.com and we will work out something for you.

Accommodation
We are pleased to provide our out-of-town convention guests with two reasonable accommodation options: Brandon University Residence facilities and the Trails West Motor Inn.
BU Residence
Current rates are $24.95 + tax per person per night for single occupancy or $19.95 + tax per person per night for double occupancy. For more information, or to book a room, please contact the residence office at 1-204-727-7394 or 1-204-727-9761, and mention you are attending PrairieCon. Be advised you will need to pre-pay at least one night via credit card, and this charge will not be refundable.
Trails West Motor Inn
Guests of PrairieCon can stay at the Trails West Motor Inn at a convention rate of $79.99 per night (based on double occupancy). Phone 1-204-727-3800 or toll free 1-888-234-4040 for reservations or more information.
PrairieCon Office
The office is located in the lounge of the Brandon University Gym. Please report to the office when you first arrive at PrairieCon.
At the office you will be able to:
- Pay fees
- Pick up your pre-registration
- Register at the door
- Purchase PrairieCon XXX T-shirts
- Drop off items for the auction
- Change your game selections
- Submit your entry for the Cover Story contest
- Find PrairieCon volunteers to answer any questions that you might have
- Borrow board games

T-Shirts
We will have a limited quantity of PrairieCon XXX T-shirts for sale at the convention. Volunteer gamemasters who run at least four separate games during the weekend will receive a free t-shirt in appreciation for your assistance. We have a variety of sizes available.
