PrairieCon is a non-profit corporation serving gamers throughout the Province of Manitoba. PrairieCon was founded on the principal of improving the gaming community in Manitoba and getting like-minded individuals together for some wholesome fun. It's an all-ages event and we make every effort to provide games that are appropriate for younger gamers. Our largest event is our annual convention, which has been running for more than thirty years!
This year, the convention is again divided into eight slots, with each slot containing a wide selection of games from which players can choose. If you have never attended PrairieCon before and wish to observe, you are welcome to do so free of charge.
If you have pre-registered, we request that you confirm your registration at the front desk when you arrive. If you wish to pre-register for PrairieCon, you will be able to do so as of May 1st.

PrairieCon is only possible because of the countless hours that our volunteers spend organizing and running the convention. If you would like to volunteer at this year's convention, please contact our volunteer coordinator. Volunteers receive a number of perks depending on their role. At the very least you will can be verbally abused by various members of the committee.
We will have a limited quantity of PrairieCon T-Shirts for sale at the convention. Some volunteer gamemasters who are running a number of events during the weekend receive a free t-shirt in appreciation for their unique form of insanity. We have a variety of sizes available.
