Prairiecon is run by a tireless group of volunteers who enjoy being poked and prodded by the tyrannical El Presidente, a ruthless dictator who insists on perfection and abhors mediocrity.

Where are we...

Prairiecon runs its events in the tropical paradise of Brandon, Manitoba. This year, the Prairiecon convention is being held at Saint Matthews Cathedral. (Louise & 13th)

Why we are...

Prairiecon was founded over 20 years ago on the principal of improving the gaming community in Manitoba and getting like-minded individuals together for some wholesome fun. It's an all-ages event and we make every effort to provide games that are appropriate for younger gamers.

Part of our income is donated to charities such as the Westman Women's Shelter.
